Sponsorship Opportunity for Cotswold RDA Horsebox

HORSEBOX APPEAL UPDATE!

Due to the generous donation of £8,000 by the trustees of The Sir Peter O’Sullevan’s Charitable Trust the appeal has achieved it’s target!

The Cotswold RDA are delighted and extremely grateful to all who donated, in addition to the Trust.

Cotswold Riding for the Disabled is so much more than just a riding school – they are a supportive community of riders, families, carers, schools, colleges, trustees, staff, volunteers, other charities and ponies all working together to ensure everyone involved in Cotswold RDA achieves the very best that they can be.

They provide therapy, enjoyment and a sense of achievement for over 200 disabled adults and children with a range of physical or mental disabilities and learning difficulties through a variety of activities to include riding and other equine-based therapies. The youngest rider is 3 years old and the oldest is 77 years young!  Their aim is to help each of our riders to reach their full potential; “It’s what you CAN do that counts”

They borrowed a horsebox and took riders to compete in the RDA National Championships bringing home impressive results (1st in Freestyle dressage to music, 1st Grade 1-6 dressage, 3rd, 4th 6th Dressage and 7th, 8th and 9th in Countryside Challenge) but also giving 7 riders and their families a weekend to remember for the rest of their lives.

Would you or your company like to show your support of the work that Cotswold Riding for the Disabled does? Or do you know someone who may like to help? We are a returning client of Butler Sherborn and we would highly recommend them if you’re looking to sell your property. The two properties we sold with BS were very different, but the BS team have always been extremely professional, approachable and friendly. And their communication skills are second to none! Thank you again!
