Good Gathers Pop Up Restaurant, The Cornwell Estate, Chipping Norton OX7 5YG

The brilliant and gifted gang of Ross and Ross Events have launched their farm to food experience on The Cornwell Estate. Ross Events are established bespoke caterers, and have been operating in the Cotswolds for over a decade.
Whilst they have an award winning reputation as wedding caterers, they have a hugely entrepreneurial spirit and independent flair, leading them to operate different venues for diverse audiences.
Good Gathers Pop Up is open from Thursday evenings to Sundays, and through the day at the weekend, the menus are fun, creative and full of locally supplied, nutritious ingredients. Ross and the Team have always had a strong commitment to sustainability. They make every effort to keep their carbon footprint to a minimum, using alternatives to plastic where possible and local suppliers, as well as using ingredients to the maximum, carcasses in broths for example.
Open air and relaxed, on the stunning Cornwell Estate, the food is all beautifully cooked and presented, with the emphasis on fresh, local produce. For a hungry group of friends looking for an inspired dining experience with music and great beers, look no further that Good Gathers.
It is extremely easy to find with a GG sign on the A44, and has a great Instagram page for booking and menus. Good Gathers (@good_gathers) • Instagram photos and videos

Drought Tolerant Plants By Oxford Garden Designs
After the long, hot, dry spring and summer the impact of climate change in most of our gardens is obvious. Establishing that pristine, green stripy lawn has been a challenge this summer, and, given the shortage of water in our reservoirs, not sustainable. Many of our favourite garden plants have fried, shrivelled, or even died so it seems inevitable to me that us green-fingered folk will have to make some changes in our approach to maintaining gardens.
