Cirencester is a thriving market town dating back to the Roman period. In the centre of the town, the majority of the buildings are of Cotswold stone, and date from both the medieval and Regency periods. The beautiful church of St John The Baptist dominates the Market Square, The Corinium Museum is a highly informative facility, and Cirencester Park abuts the centre of the town. The Agricultural University coupled with Cirencester Polo Club inject a youthful optimism and energy into the town.

The King’s Head Hotel in the Market Place offers a lovely place to stay in the centre of Cirencester. Made By Bob and Cote are among many good restaurants, and the town boasts a number of independent shops, such as Octavia’s Bookshop and Jessie Smith’s butchers, as well as Joules, Crew, Fat Face and Phase 8. An artisan and produce market is held weekly in The Market Place.

Butler Sherborn's Cirencester estate agents branch is located on Castle Street.

Our Cirencester office is the largest of the three offices across the Cotswolds. The senior partner, Sam Butler is based in the Cirencester office, together with the Rural Department led by Richard Greasby, the Residential team headed by Sophie Keogh and the administrative departments, book keeping and accounts, run by Jen Regan.

A truly fantastic service from all the team at Butler Sherborn, we can’t praise them highly enough.  Even during the most difficult parts of lockdown they were professional and practical in finding ways to keep the process of selling going.  Most of all they were lovely to work with, always looking after our best interests and ensuring that the process was carried out in the best possible way. We can’t thank them enough.

We are a returning client of Butler Sherborn and we would highly recommend them if you’re looking to sell your property. The two properties we sold with BS were very different, but the BS team have always been extremely professional, approachable and friendly. And their communication skills are second to none! Thank you again Team BS.
