The Bell Inn offers good, simple, pub food together with a straight forward wine list in a charming, cosy and relaxed environment. There is a warm bar area for quiet drinking, a restaurant and delightful beer garden. Peter Creed and Tom Noest took over the pub in 2017, and re-opened, it after refurbishment, to excellent reviews and great acclaim.  

Peter ensures that the welcome received by all guests is warm and sincere. The atmosphere is consistently friendly and fun. Tom is a highly accomplished and passionate chef, and the menus are a celebration of good British food, offal and game. Every effort is made to source fresh ingredients from local farmers, butchers and game dealers, as well as cheese, direct from the cheesemakers in the Cotswolds.

The Bell offers several menus, including A Feast Menu, designed to be shared among a number of diners eating together. The Bites include Lamb Scrumpet & ketchup, petit Lucques olives and garlic, parsley and marrow flatbread. The starters clearly reflect The Bell’s ethos of British specialities at their best. Devilled kidneys and Cotswold IPA rarebit with soldiers and pickles are popular favourites. In addition, to a mouth-watering selection of pizzas, some of main courses are also woodfired, such as the sole with samphire.

 Great attention has been paid to the carefully drawn wine list, and it is never forgotten that The Bell is primarily a pub, so an excellent selection of English beers is to be found here. Local boutique gins and whiskies are also included on a generous list of spirits.

This charming pub has 8 double rooms with en-suite wet rooms and is extremely happy to arrange days shooting in the Cotswolds, be it gamebird or clay days. Indeed, The Bell Inn offers special rates to shooting parties wishing to book any of the rooms.
