Given that in the spring it looked unlikely that we would have any international competitions at all during 2020, at Team Way Eventing we have managed to have a surprisingly successful productive season!

The positive side of the spring lockdown was being able to spend so much time working on the basics with the young horses, without the pressure of having to take them to competitions. Interestingly, I think they ended up progressing more quickly than normal.  The major blows for us were the cancellations of some of the big international events, such as Badminton in the spring and Blenheim in the autumn.  However, we are able to get some good 4* runs into our top horses, and qualify all of the young horses for their respective age class championships.  The major blow at the end of the season was the cancellation of the 4* in Holland, at the end of October, where we should have been taking 3 of our top horses for the long format 4*.

The majority of our horses are currently on their winter holidays, and most will be coming back into work at the end of December. It was also exciting to hear recently, that Badminton 2021 will be going ahead, even if it needs to run behind closed doors,  so we dare looking forward to the 2021 Season with an exciting string of horses, and a great support team around us.

Pip Menzel - November 2019

At all points I have found Butler Sherborn to of gone above and beyond to help with the process of selling our house. They offer a service that is modern in its approach yet old-fashioned and uniquely personable. We have found they're thoughtful and their knowledge of the market is second to none.
