The Business Development, Food Processing and Rural Tourism Infrastructure grants are now open to new applications. You could be eligible for a Growth Programme grant if your business is carrying out a project to create jobs or bring more money into the rural economy.

There are 3 types of grant:

  • Business development
  • Food processing
  • Rural tourism infrastructure

Total funding is limited meaning grant applications are competitive as per Round 1.

The grants are funded by the European Agricultural Fund for Rural Development (EAFRD), which is part of the European Structural Investment Funds (ESIF). The UK Government has

guaranteed that any Rural Development Programme projects where funding has been agreed before the end of 2020 will be funded for their full lifetime. This applies in both a negotiated and a no-deal scenario.

You must submit an Expression of Interest (EOI) form before midnight on 16 February 2020.

The final date by which all projects must be finished, paid for and complete grant claims submitted is 30 September 2021

At all points I have found Butler Sherborn to of gone above and beyond to help with the process of selling our house. They offer a service that is modern in its approach yet old-fashioned and uniquely personable. We have found they're thoughtful and their knowledge of the market is second to none.
