The Potting Shed & Cart Shed, Hatherop, nr Fairford, Gloucestershire, GL7 3NA - £375,000

This is an exciting opportunity to purchase a rare set of buildings in Hatherop from the Ernest Cook Trust, a leading educational charity and local land owner.

In a discreet position close to the Coln Valley and the centre of Hatherop village, a sympathetic restoration and bespoke renovation would create two imaginatively designed family homes or holiday cottages.  Planning permission has already been granted to convert the two buildings into two separate dwellings from what was previously a garden centre.

The Potting Shed is a single storey building giving 1,017 sq ft of accommodation which is proposed would provide two double bedrooms, one with an en-suite bathroom, an open-plan kitchen/dining/ living area, a separate study and boot room/shower room.  Outside there would be a terrace/patio area and parking for two cars.

The Cart Shed gives 656 sq ft of accommodation to provide two double bedrooms, a family bathroom, and an open-plan kitchen/dining/living area.  A small terrace is also proposed with parking for two cars.

The small and close community of Hatherop has a primary school plus Hatherop Castle prep school, while Coln St Aldwyns nearby has a community run shop and post office, and the popular New Inn pub and restaurant.  The nearest stations at Swindon and Kemble provide fast train links to London Paddington.
