“Covid has changed for good the way a lot of people work, and while some are having to return to their offices, many are now working remotely, or to a flexible hybrid office/home-working model. I think people are placing greater emphasis on the quality of life, where they live, and also taking a much longer-term view.

“We saw an exceptional level of sales during the past 18 months which included some particularly strong private deals, and collectively this has helped firm up prices and recover some of the ground lost since before Brexit.

“It is still unquestionably a sellers’ market, and providing you have found somewhere to move to, a very good time to sell.”
