Badminton Horse Trials Highlights

Ros Canter and Lordships Graffalo secured a second Mars Badminton Horse Trials title, adding to their impressive accomplishments in an emotional conclusion to the 2025 event.
After her victory, Ros expressed her heartfelt emotions, stating, "This was for Caroline Moore; she was by my side throughout my whole career," as she told Horse and Hound. "I’m so pleased I managed to make her proud. It's the first time I've done anything without her. Not only was she my trainer and mentor, but she was also my best friend."

This year, a total of 83 horses and event riders participated, making it an incredible week of eventing.

We also had a delightful time hosting at our beautiful Lakeside Pavilion, situated right in front of Badminton House with front-row seats overlooking the famous lake complex. Our team thoroughly enjoyed welcoming so many familiar faces, as well as new ones.

A huge thank you to everyone who came to see us! We look forward to next year already!

Drought Tolerant Plants By Oxford Garden Designs
After the long, hot, dry spring and summer the impact of climate change in most of our gardens is obvious. Establishing that pristine, green stripy lawn has been a challenge this summer, and, given the shortage of water in our reservoirs, not sustainable. Many of our favourite garden plants have fried, shrivelled, or even died so it seems inevitable to me that us green-fingered folk will have to make some changes in our approach to maintaining gardens.
