Why are we offering this service?

As I have mentioned previously, I have worked and loved working in the property industry for my entire career. I also bought a lovely house from Butler Sherborn not so long ago! My husband and I dealt with Elizabeth in the Stow office, she successfully helped us navigate through difficult times and was always communicative and friendly. When I had the idea of this ‘House Moving Service’ naturally, Butler Sherborn was the first agent I thought of. Luckily, they think it is as good an idea, as I do.

I am drawing on my years of experience, knowing how many decisions must be made and how stressful it can be viewing house after house. How sometimes you wish the kitchen was in another room but don’t understand the costs involved, so quickly discount the house, or how there isn’t always the property that you really wanted in the right location, but with a bit of imagination this one particular house could be amazing. Luckily I have that imagination! In abundance. Houses have always been so important to me since a child and I still feel the same passion and interest for them in my 40’s…

Also, we all know many people move to The Cotswolds from other areas (me included, because why would you live anywhere else??) so you are unlikely to know trustworthy contractors etc.  Claire Halstead Interiors will be able to help you build your dream home and shoulder some of the stress and difficult decision making along the way. The initial consultation will be free, and then we offer many different options from a Room by Room service, to designs and report only, and a Full Interior Design Service.
