The Bell, Charlbury has recently been refurbished to offer a traditional 17th Century pub at the heart of the local community, together with a selection of beautifully appointed rooms for those wishing to stay for a night or a few days in the Cotswolds.

The chefs have created a modern British menu serving seasonal dishes that celebrate produce from Daylesford Organic, the sister farm. The bedrooms have been restored with considered attention to detail, drawing on the skills of local artisans and artists. From crackling log fires to a huge orchard garden for families to drink in the sunshine, The Bell provides an escape from the bustle of everyday life.

The menus are seasonal and use the best ingredients supplied by local growers and producers from the meat to the herbs, fruit and vegetables.

Modern craft beers from British breweries are served beside traditional cask ales, together with artisan draught cider and carefully selected wines from independent vineyards. The Bar has a large inglenook with wonderful crackling fires and is a welcoming place for dogs and children alike, whilst there is a Snug offering a quieter corner tucked away.

The twelve bedrooms are charming, with antique furniture upholstered in vintage fabrics offering a range of options to families and couples from king sized double beds to additional single beds in the family room, all with sumptuous bedlinens.

Open seven days a week. Go to the web site to book a Table or Reserve a room, for a wonderful weekend in the Cotswolds.
