Pub Of The Month

Our pub of the month is the award winning village pub, the Swan in Southrop. Located just a short stroll from Thyme, the Swan sits at the heart of this quaint village adjacent to the green.
It was previously known as the Bakehouse, serving bread and ales to the farm workers, dating back as far as 1606. With this rich history, the Swan radiates character with the feeling of a traditional village pub. It is known for its slung ceilings, roaring fire, spacious garden room, and sunny courtyard garden, perfect for this time of year.
The Swan celebrates homegrown produce from the farm and kitchen garden at Thyme. The menus often adapt to the changing seasonal produce.

Additionally, The Swan hosts enjoyable evenings, including a pub quiz scheduled for May 11th, from 6:30 to 7:30 pm, as well as a popular event, 'Negroni Hour', held five nights a week from 5 to 6 pm.
