Cotswold artist Lesley-Anne Doole opens new gallery Milton-under-Wychwood
Lesley-Anne Doole, a local Cotswold artist, is opening a new gallery space on Saturday 24th September, in the popular village of Milton-under-Wychwood at the Alfred Groves Yard.
Lesley- Anne’s own work is varied, and spans most of the conventional painting disciplines with a passion for oils and pastels. The subjects of her paintings vary from sea and landscapes depicting her travels, to wildlife, then closer to home capturing the familiar rolling hills of the Cotswolds.
Through her work over the years, as an interior and architectural designer both in the UK and Europe designing hotels, restaurants and private residential properties, she has a developed a passion for simple, beautiful artisan objects.
White Spring Studio is a calm, relaxing space with a curated selection of pottery, homewares, books and art chosen personally by Lesley-Anne for their beauty, artisanal essence and originality.
Do come and visit the studio and enjoy a 10% discount for Butler Sherborn customers. The Opening Party is on Saturday 24th September from 5pm till 9pm. All welcome.

Drought Tolerant Plants By Oxford Garden Designs
After the long, hot, dry spring and summer the impact of climate change in most of our gardens is obvious. Establishing that pristine, green stripy lawn has been a challenge this summer, and, given the shortage of water in our reservoirs, not sustainable. Many of our favourite garden plants have fried, shrivelled, or even died so it seems inevitable to me that us green-fingered folk will have to make some changes in our approach to maintaining gardens.
