When I started my career is residential agency over 20 years ago it was an industry which was dominated by a generation of accomplished men. As the world of estate agency has dramatically evolved particularly in the last decade, both in terms of marketing and dialogue, we have celebrated the careers of some wonderfully impressive women both as selling and buying agents and also solicitors. Luckily, we now live and work in a society in the Cotswolds where gender is no longer a measure of someone’s aptitude and agents are measured against their reputation and achievements. On occasion I have been approached by other larger corporate firms to join their ranks but at Butler Sherborn we have always championed women and I remain committed to our sensational team of superb agents offering an exceptional service, which continue to grow and thrive.
